My name is Iván, although many friends and clients call me Jimi 🙂
Here’s the story of our boat rental company in Ibiza. In 2010, after 11 years working in the same electrical company, in the midst of the crisis, I decided, along with my girlfriend, Morgane, and with unconditional support from my father Juan, that it was time to venture into creating a company in what is really a way of life for us: THE SEA (since I can remember, I’ve been sailing and fishing with my father). We invested our savings and with financing, we bought our first boat, the Montecarlo 27, thus forming a small, young, and family-owned company called JIM IBIZA BOATS, whose initials are part of our names, thus remembering the human team behind this small but exciting project.
Many thought it was crazy to leave my job and invest so much money in something they said had a lot of competition. Yes, it’s true that there is a lot of competition, but through hard work, offering a new and quality product at competitive prices, being as flexible as possible, and above all treating our customers as friends and with the same enthusiasm as if they were the first, we prospered and in 2013 we bought our second boat, a Monterey, and subsequently other boats. So, to this day, JIM IBIZA BOATS has become a consolidated company in this competitive sector.
